Tool inputs

The word counter processes text in your browser. The random picker processes the options you enter in the page. The tool code does not upload those inputs or provide an account-based save feature. Closing or refreshing the page can discard unsaved inputs. This does not mean the website makes no network requests: hosting, analytics and advertising services are described below.

Browser storage

Somett uses local storage for a selected tool or game language and, in 2048, score history. Local storage stays in that browser until it is cleared. It is not encrypted storage or a backup. You can remove it through your browser’s site-data settings; saved preferences and scores will then be lost. If storage is unavailable, tools can still run without persistent preferences.

Hosting and analytics

The website is hosted through Vercel. Requests can disclose technical information such as IP address, browser information, requested URL and timing to the hosting service. Existing tool and game pages load Vercel Web Analytics, where enabled, to help understand visits and usage. Do not put confidential information in URL parameters.

Advertising and third parties

Existing tool and game pages include Google AdSense code. Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers, web beacons or IP addresses to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads where permitted and consented to. Third parties may collect information from your browser as a result of these requests.

Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services and manage advertising preferences at Google My Ad Center. Where required, advertising must operate with appropriate consent choices. Browser privacy settings can also limit cookies and site storage.

Email enquiries

When you email contact@somett.com, your email address, message and attachments are received through the email service used to handle correspondence. Send only what is needed. Correspondence may be retained to respond, follow up or maintain a record of an issue; no fixed retention period is promised here. To ask about access or deletion of a message, contact the same address. Applicable rights depend on your location and circumstances.
